This red lentil soup is a simple recipe made with lentils and vegetables.
3 tbsp. oil (cooking)
2 cups of diced onion
1 1/2 cup of diced carrots
1 cup of diced celery
1 cup of diced potato
1 tsp. salt
2 bay leaves
1 cup of red lentils
juice of 1-2 lemons
Sautée onion, potato, carrot, celery, salt, and bay leaves for 15 minutes.
Add lentils and sautée for 5 minutes.
Add water to cover. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Before serving, add lemon juice.
