Honey roasted macadamia nuts

Honey roasted macadamia nuts are delicious. The best ones I’ve ever had were in Australia but I thought I’d try to recreate the experience and they turned out pretty good, so I’ll definitely be making them again.

Ingredients

1 tbsp. butter
1 tbps. liquid honey
1.5-2 cups of macadamia nuts
rocky or flakey sea salt (optional, to taste)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 300°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Put a pot or pan on the stovetop on low heat. Add butter and let it melt. Next, add the honey. Stir to mix.

Add macadamia nuts and toss in the saucepan to coat. Cook on low for approximately 5 minutes.

Spread the nuts on the baking sheet in a single layer. Put in the oven.

Bake for 10 minutes. Mix and turn them over if you can.

Bake for another 10 minutes.

Let cool.

Add rocky or flakey sea salt, to taste.

You can spread the honey roasted macadamia nuts on a plate and put them in the fridge to cool for 20 minutes. They’re good when they’re kinda cold.
